Dr. Sadrudin Pardhan has joined CSRC as its Director from August 2010.
Dr Pardhan joined Aga Khan University-Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED) in April 1993. He is currently holding the position of Professor and Director of Outreach Programmes and Activities at the Institute.
Dr Pardhan was involved in AKU-IED’s planning in 1989 and played a key role in its establishmnet in 1993. At AKU-IED, he has been involved in curriculum planning, teaching, finance and administration. In the initial years of AKU-IED, he played an important role in developing collaborative relationships with various institutions and educational systems. He has been responsible for co-ordination with funding agencies and developed a reporting mechanism. He has been actively involved in outreach activities of the Institute. He has also been involved in the conceptualisation and development of the Professional Development Centre, Northern Areas, and the Professional Development Centre Lead-in Project in East Africa.
Prior to joining AKU-IED (between 1989 and 1993), he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan.
