Professional Interests & Experience – Bio: Nadim Vasanji is a graduate with high honors of the University of Chicago Booth School of business. After business school, Nadim co-founded and worked to launch Masala Wala, a fast-casual Indian restaurant in Chicago. He is currently a Senior Associate in McKinsey & Company’s Chicago office.
Nadim Vasanji … will receive $35,000 for tuition from the Siebel Foundation in recognition of their outstanding academic performance and leadership qualities. The Siebel Scholars Program was established in 2000 to recognize the most talented students at the world’s leading graduate schools of business, computer science and bioengineering, and to form an active, lifelong community among a growing group of leaders.
Vasanji co-founded Masala Wala, a fast-casual restaurant business, while at Booth and he was one of 12 students elected to be a student advisor to the Dean’s Search Committee that recommended Sunil Kumar as dean effective January 1, 2011. Before enrolling at Booth Vasanji was an associate at TD Capital Private Equity Investors and a business analyst at McKinsey & Company. A lover of sports, he is an avid golfer and once played competitive soccer against Owen Hargreaves, current star of the British national team.
