Dr. Mustard’s legacy is evident in Brant – Brantford Expositor

He got the world talking about the importance of early learning and, when he spoke, people listened.

Dr. Fraser Mustard passed away Nov. 16, leaving a vast legacy of accomplishments. These included being part of the team that discovered how Aspirin can ward off heart attacks, setting up the innovative model that is McMaster University’s medical school as its first dean, founding the Canadian Institute of Advanced Research, working with the World Bank, sitting on the board of the Aga Khan University and serving as thinker-In-residence in Australia.

Of course, we know him best for his work in neuroscience and how he championed the importance of early brain development.
