Dr. Nasir Jetha is a Clinic Associate Professor of Pediatrics with the University of British Columbia (UBC) and an active staff member with the BC Children¿s and Women¿s Health Centre. In the past, he has worked as a community physician and has various hospital and academic experience. He was Medical Director of the Children¿s Hospital¿s Centre at Mt. St. Joseph Hospital for 11 years and a member of the Medical Advisory Committees at BC Children¿s Hospital and Mt. St. Joseph Hospital. Currently, he is a member of the BC Medical Association¿s (BCMA) Board of Directors and their Executive Committee, and a member of the UBC Faculty of Medicine Executive Committee. In addition, Dr. Nasir serves as Chair on several BCMA committees including the Constitution and Bylaws Committee and the Medical Services Plan Standard Outpatient Requisition Committee. He has been extensively involved with community and volunteer activities locally and relief work in the developing world for over 25 years.
