“I have always wanted to create something special for the disabled,” says Imran Dhanani, 16, and Grade 10 at International School of Tanganyika.
Imran has been a car enthusiast since childhood and has exhibited great innovative skills in his recent attempt of Grade 10 project.
The project took him six months to be completed. Having a truly sensitive heart for the underprivileged and a passion for cars, he was inspired to design and put together very resourceful pieces, to make a practical and economical engine operated tricycle for a disabled woman.
Moreover, the woman being a small-scale trader, can also climb on her special business-friendly vehicle independently and access her mini-shop, which is held on a foldable table at the backside under which lies her merchandise by the specially designed turn-around seat.
