Jane Devji, owner of Delta View Habilitation Centre, along with her sons Ali and Salim, recently donated $10,000 to the Kids 1st Campaign.
The campaign is raising money to outfit the Delta Sport Development Centre, the new home of Delta Gymnastics opening this April.
“I strongly believe that when they start young, kids stay healthy for life,” said Devji. “I have two sons and two grandchildren; I know how important it is for kids to stay busy and active.”
Devji, originally from Tanzania, added that when she was young there were no such opportunities back home so she is fully supportive and excited about the opening of this new facility in Ladner.
