A UBC graduate with a BA in Economics and a diploma in Urban Land Economics, Shelina is active in the community through her current volunteer efforts with Junior Achievement of BC and the Tri-Mentoring Program at UBC. In the past she has also been active with Canuck Place, the Aga Khan Foundation and the Ismaili Community.
