Aga Khan 'Partnership Walk' in Chicago helps fight against global poverty | abc7chicago.comSeptember 19, 2010 (CHICAGO) (WLS) — Sunday’s weather was a pleasant surprise for hundreds of volunteers helping out with a great cause.

The Aga Khan Foundation’s Chicago Partnership Walk aims to fight global poverty and improve the lives of the disadvantaged in Asia and Africa.

ABC7’s Ravi Baichwal was fortunate to be able to serve as one of the event’s hosts, and ABC7’s Karen Jordan was also a big part of the event.

The Partnership Walk was one of 24 events scheduled in the U.S, Canada, and Great Britain. The Aga Khan Foundation supports programs in health, education, and rural development worldwide.
