Calgary’s Ismaili Muslim community hopes to make a big difference for less fortunate children in Calgary.
It organized the Food for Thought Food Drive in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club and the United Way.
Volunteers will distribute more than 60 boxes of food that have been collected by the Ismaili community during the holy month Ramadan.
The food will be given to various schools for at-risk youth and children who might not start their day with good nutrition.
