Karmali family’s Mukwano Group and LEAD to train over 30,000 Ugandan farmers to increase agricultural production | Uganda Business News

Livelihoods and Enterprises for Agricultural Development (LEAD), a USAID funded project are training farmers in northern and Eastern Uganda on modern farming methods to be followed this planting season.

LEAD is training farmers in conjunction with Mukwano Group of Companies. Mukwano and LEAD are training over 30,000 farmers in Oyam, Lira, Dokolo, Amolatar, Amuru, Pader and Soroti among other districts.

Johan Lorenzen, the Communication’s Officer of LEAD says the training they give farmers is aimed at increasing agricultural produce.
