One of my fondest memories of growing up in Africa was the great peanut biscotti (jugu cake) that my sisters mother in law made on special occasions. This cake or biscotti, is bombarded with flavor and texture and goes great with a cup of afternoon tea (chai). The other day, I was craving this treat and so I called my sister’s mother in law who now resides in Toronto and begged for the recipe. She was so glad when I told her that I am going to post this recipe on my blog. So, this recipe is dedicated to Mrs… Nurbanu Velji (with a slight variation by . . . moi!)
