IOF is pleased to announce that Famida Jiwa, elected Chair of the Patient Societies Subcommittee in 2008, has been appointed as Vice 
Chair of the Committee of National Societies (CNS). The CNS, one of IOF’s three membership commitees, brings together more than 190 patient and medical societies from around the world.
Dr Jiwa is the Vice President of Operations for Osteoporosis Canada and holds a Masters Degree in Health Administration, a Doctorate of Chiropractic, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Science, Genetics and Psychology.
