Bhubaneswar: Total 47 students of 2009-11 batch of KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM), a constituent of KIIT University, reached Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok as a part of the student exchange programme between the two institutes. Under the International Study Segment, the students of MBA in Rural Management course will stay there for one month and complete two courses of 4 credits in Development Project Management and Rural Regional Planning.

The prominent NGOs that participated in the campus placement include Agha Khan Rural Support Programme, BISWA, Development Alternatives, National Livelihood Resource Institute, Child Fund India. The corporate sector was represented by Ruchi Soya, Reliance, Monsanto, Technoserve and Serecon Pvt. Ltd. Microfinance institutions like Spandana, MIMO, BASIX and IFMR also recruited the students.
