Facelift for Nizamuddin area before Games

New Delhi, Jun 1 (PTI) The MCD is undertaking a project to improve streets and toilet blocks in the congested Hazrat Nizamuddin area in south Delhi, which is expected to draw a large number of visitors during the Commonwealth Games.

The project involves upgrading various lanes in the area by installing interlocking tiles, relaying of storm water drains wherever required and improving community toilet complexes, MCD officials said.

The project, work on which has already been started, is being undertaken in consultation with Aga Khan Trust for Culture
