Alia Dharamsi: An Appetite for Service

Alia Dharamsi, a 4th year, graduating UBC Science Student has been featured in this Month’s UBC Reports Congregation Issue.

Only a handful of students are selected to be featured in this special congregation issue of the monthly newspaper published by the public affairs office of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

The article highlights Alia’s contributions to her community, especially regarding her efforts to raise funds and awareness for local food banks.

Dharamsi, a fourth-year Integrated Sciences Program (ISP) student, has turned her passion for all things nutrition-related—the, social, cultural, physiological and developmental impact of food—into a guiding principle.
