Shafeeq Vellani is a writer/director and has worked in the industry for many years making cinema shorts, television drama and documentaries, and arts documentaries. He has just completed a short film Nice Beaches which will have its premier at Encounters film Festival in November 2008. His other fiction films include:
Darwish (1994), commissioned by the British Film Institute, which has been screened at festivals around the world, broadcast on UK television, distributed by Lux and is part of the BFI Film Poems programme.
See Red (1998), his Channel 4/BFI short, selected in competition at Locarno Film Festival, screened at Claremont Ferrand Film Festival and other festivals world-wide.
Escape to Somerset (1997), his television drama for HTV/South West Media Development Agency.

Hi Raheel, just came across this website and and saw I was on it! This website is for my last film, am going to have my own website later this year with all my films on it. Otherwise, no I haven’t put any online.
