Vancouver executive oversees soaring growth of BlackBerry global sales

Frenny Bawa technically has an office in Waterloo, Ont., but the Research In Motion vice-president actually works full-time out of her Vancouver home — often e-mailing and conference calling into the wee hours of the night — to push her company’s BlackBerrys in India as well as the Middle East and Africa.
The very device she markets around the world is part of the key to her Lotus Land vantage point, she says.
