Sheniz Janmohamed: The Universe Within

Sheniz Janmohamed is a freelance writer, poet and spoken word artist who has performed at various venues across Toronto. She has participated in the Strong Words reading series, Toronto Poets’ Saturday Night Love, Masala! Mehndi! Masti!, Majlis Arts’ Figure of Speech series and the Mini Shebang High School Tour. Her work has appeared in the Hart House Review, UC Review and Yellow as Turmeric, Fragrant as Cloves: A Contemporary Anthology of Asian American Women’s Poetry.
The Universe Within is a sufi-inspired poetry performance with harmonium and vocals especially created for Masala! Mehndi! Masti!
