3L Initiative: Helping Kids with Disabilities – Live.Love.Laugh

3L is an initiative started by 5 young, ambitious and socially responsible students who want to give back to society. Utilizing their business and marketing education to help others one step at a time. Starting with fund-raising initiatives to enhance programs which provide children with disabilities a fun-filled ability fostering childhood.

In 2010, we hope to assist the BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities in alleviating the many barriers that children with disabilities face on a daily basis. All proceeds raised will contribute to enhancing and developing specific programs that focus on creating happiness and self-confidence in these kids. Through community support and involvement, we hope to foster the abilities of these kids by allowing them to live life, laugh and of course love….. and so the 3L Initiative was born.

We hope to achieve our $10,000 objective through the launch of our Valentine’s Day card collection, in which each card is individually designed by a child with a disability. The true beauty behind this initiative is that each card highlights the amazing abilities that these children possess.

Through the purchase of a beautiful Valentine’s Day Card, you can show that special someone how entirely special they are while making a positive difference in the lives of these children.
