The grand colony of karimabad came into existence in 1960 with Hazar Imam’s blessings. Situated some eight miles from the Centre of Karachi. Karimabad was the only colony at that time in the new demarcated Federal ‘b’ Area. We are proud to have our destiny attached to such Colony-neat, clean and possessing all the amenities of life with pleasant climate and exceptionally beautiful surroundings.
The Karimabad Band Came into existence in the year 1961. Mr Badruddin A Dhanani was Appointed as the First Captain of Band. He was well versed with the affairs of the band and fully conversant with technical process involved in the handling of the band’s instruments. He had to struggle to bring the Organization on its proper footing. Leading a group of raw and inexperienced hands never acquainted with the technical handling of the intricate equipment he was, no doubt confronted with great embarrassing and baffling situation. he engaged an experienced coach to train the members in the art of Music and handling of the instrument.
