Shaherose is a mobile and telephony junkie. She leads new consumer products at Ribbit, a British Telecom company. Previously, she was Director of Product Management at JAJAH (backed by Sequoia and Deutsche Telekom). Prior to that, she was at TiE overseeing governance and operations of 40+ entrepreneurship centers. She aspires to pour her entrepreneurial spirit into launching mobile solutions for emerging economies. Shaherose holds a B.A. in Business Admin from The University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business.

Samasource, Valley Businesswomen to Host Nov. 12 Charity Gala
The non-profit provides computer-based work for women, youth and refugees in countries such as Kenya and Pakistan. To raise more money, Samasource is teaming up with prominent businesswomen in Silicon Valley, including Facebook’s Randi Zuckerberg and Women 2.0 CEO Shaherose Charania, to host the invitation-only GiveWork Charity Gala on Nov. 12 at the University Club in San Francisco.
