On Tuesday, May 12, the WPGA junior school assembly was dedicated to the issue of global poverty. A variety of students presented information about the state of poverty that exists in many parts of the world. On their way down to the gym, students passed by a hut from which the sounds of African drumming was heard, a symbol of the existing poverty and lack of resources in the world’s 2nd largest continent both in terms of population and land mass. Thanks to Mr. Naso and his helpers for organizing this authentic musical experience.
