This blog was created by the 12th grade students of Ismaili Religious Education Center (REC) of Glenview Illinois.
Every year the students leave behind something (a mural, a sculpture etc..) this years students decided to start a campaign to help gather school supplies for students who may need them. This has extended into other REC’s and other grades.
THE MISSION
The Chicago 12th Grade Religious Education Center class has decided to take some action towards this cause. Our goal is to gather 500 School Supply Kits and deliver them to schools, academies, or orphanages in the developing world. This is a very modest effort to show we care, and that everyone can make a difference.

Dear 12th Graders of Glenview REC, you will be making a lot of impact on many underprivileged young people around the globe. I personally have witnessed your assembly line preparation of those school supply packages.
Keep up the good work.
