The Afghan Ambassador and Mrs. Samad attend the inaugural ceremony for the new building that houses the Delegation of the Ismaili Imamat in Ottawa. His Highness the Aga Khan and the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada spoke at the ceremony attended by more than 300 guests.
During the reception, the Ambassador Samad congratulated His Highness for this achievement, and also thanked him for providing valubale assistances to Afghanistan. The Delegation serves a representational role for the Imamat and the AKDN’s nine non-denominational, philanthropic, development agencies.
