Autumn Time – Poem by NB

NB (name withheld) has written another poem which is going to be published by The Poetry Institute of Canada.

Autumn Time

Crisp autumn leaves beneath me,
The empty branches of a bare tree,
Leaves of red, orange and brown,
Covering the ground.

Leaves crunching,
Squirrels munching,
Birds flying,
Children crying.

The wind blowing my hair,
Leaves are everywhere!
When I see these signs,
I know that it’s autumn time!
