Reflections on the GJ Year.
Since the Golden Jubilee year has come to an end, I observe the various comments made by my Ismaili friends. My favorites include taglines stating “Golden thi…Golden thi…Golden thi…” or just a simple “It’s over…” I shared those sentiments initially for it has been a truly magical year and a half. Two moves, five projects, one new amazing job and four Khusyalis (in four different cities) later, I am left with the need to reflect but no idea where to begin. So, this is my attempt at reflection and honest expression to understand a moment in my life that is possibly, well definitely, beyond the scope of my comprehension.
