Museum of Islamic Art opens Kuwait – AKTC collaborated

Chairperson of Qatar Museums Authority Board of Trustees Sheikha al-Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani has underlined that the goal of the Museum of Islamic Art “is to invest in our country’s most valuable resource – our people – by developing new educational experiences.”

In organising this special event, we have collaborated with leading cultural institutions from around the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the British Museum, the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, the Gulbenkian Foundation, the Topkapi Sarayi Museum, the Museum fur Islamische Kunst, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.”

‘’It is in this spirit that we have founded the Museum of Islamic Art, as a place of learning and a platform for dialogue among the people of the world,” Sheikha al-Mayassa said.
