VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The spiritual leader for 15 million Ismaili Muslims is in Canada this week.
The Aga Khan, Prince Karim, arrived in Ottawa yesterday and will be in Vancouver next Tuesday.
He’ll be here to join in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of his appointment as Imam of the Ismailis.
During his eight day visit to Canada, the Aga Khan will also meet with Governor General Michaelle Jean and Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty.
