Princess Zahra Aga Khan will preside over an evening of celebration and solidarity for Care France Associations on August 30. The event will honor Care France’s programs in Madagascar. The association is working since 1992 and have led many food security programs. It also intervened after cyclones Indhala and Ivan in 2007 and 2008 and has since undertaken rehabilitation programs.
In 2006, the ball raised 50 000 € for the creation of micro-enterprises in Mali. 5000 women have benefited, said Marina de Brantes, Honorary President of Care France. In 2007, funds raised was used in the creation of Care in Morocco. 50 000 € funded projects have access to the water in schools around Casablanca.
