Ishan Mandani was awarded the young achiever of 2008 by the South Asian Excellence Awards on May 10, at Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan New York.
The Award ceremony was televised on July 13 by Sony entertainment Television on SET (Indian Channel).

Ishan Mandani is a 12-year-old boy from Florida whose passion for the poor, elderly, and sick has lead him to make exemplary commitments to charitable organizations like Hospice, a terminally ill nursing home.
