KARACHI: The City District Government Karachi has initiated a two-year study programme on women and child health in coordination with the Aga Khan University’s department of women and children health research.
The research will focus on the issue of death of mothers and children during and after pregnancy and childbirth. Experts will try to find the causes of these deaths and suggest preventive measures.
An AKU delegation led by Dr Imrana Pasha and Dr Saira Saleem called on City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal at his office here Friday.
