Thousands walked with greater sense of purpose Sunday, taking part in anti-poverty march that Citytv and CityNews made a special point of joining.
The World Partnership Walk was part of a nationwide effort to battle global poverty, and in Toronto more than 7,000 did their part by marching down University Avenue. All the funds raised went to the Aga Khan Foundation, which focuses on empowering women and developing sustainable solutions.
