Osh oblast governor Aaly Karashev met with the Head of Aga Khan Development Network Representation, Nurjehan Mawani, on May 19, reported press service of Osh oblast state administration.
During this meeting Nurjehan Mawani thanked the governor for providing support in implementation of Aga Khan Foundation projects and said Osh oblast is leading in scope and number of Aga Khan-supported projects.
Nurjehan Mawani invited the governor to attend the official opening ceremony of the kindergarten in Chonalay rayon that was built under Aga Khan Foundation project and the exhibition in Osh city on occasion of the 50th anniversary since Prince Aga Khan assumed the Imamat of the Nizari Ismailis that will be held on June 20-21, the press service said.
The governor expressed his readiness to provide support in holding these events and thanked Nurjehan Mawani for AKDN’s contribution into improvement of socio-economic situation among local communities. The governor expressed readiness for further cooperation with AKDN.
