Prince Aga Khan calls on AP Governor, CM

Prince Aga Khan, who arrived by a special flight from New Delhi on a brief visit to the city, today met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Welcoming the spiritual leader, Dr Reddy and Aga Khan briefly reviewed the progress of the Aga Khan Academy coming up on the outskirts of the city.

The Chief Minister requested the Prince to expedite the prestigious nursing faculty project, which he was planning to set up in association with Mc Master University in the state.

Dr Reddy assured him all help and assistance from the state government in this regard. His Highness the Aga Khan, later called on Governor N D Tiwari at the Raj Bhavan, who extended his good wishes for the project. After a five-hour stay in the city, His Highness the Aga Khan left for Mumbai, an official release said.
