President Amadou Toumani Touré of Mali thanked His Highness the Aga Khan for the work undertaken by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture in restoring the mosque. His Highness the Aga Khan later addressed the guests at the Inauguration Ceremony while Prince Hussain, Princess Khaliya and Prince Rahim were also present.
