In addition to the Reliant Center prayer gathering, smaller events will be held at mosques around the city.

Mehmood Daya, a Shia Ismaili Muslim, will attend Eid prayers at the Katy Ismaili Muslim Center, and stay for lunch and a carnival for the children. His extended family will get together for a holiday dinner.
