| Aga Khan University School of Nursing Afghanistan and Institute of Health Sciences in Kabul signed a letter of intent to establish a framework for collaboration in an effort to enhance the quality of education in nursing and midwifery programs at Kabul IHS.Under that agreement, AKUSON A has been extending its technical support through a team of experts to nursing and midwifery programs at Kabul HIS and to three other IHSs in Heart, Jalalabad and Mazar.
The Aga University, School of Nursing is seeking exceptional individuals to fill the position of English Trainer at the National Program Office Kabul. |

| Duties & Responsibilities: | |
| 1.Organize and design English Language training (ELT) materials for the English Teachers at Institute of Health Sciences ( I H S ) Kabul.2.conduct (ELT) session for the English Faculty at I H S, Kabul.
3.Assist and train English teachers of I H S Kabul in developing lesson plans and in (ELT) methodology, 4.Develop and design ELT materials for training subject teachers of I H S and administrative staffs . 5.Conduct ELT training for I H S subject teachers and administrative staff on regular basis. 6.Assist English teachers in revising and reviewing ELT curriculum for I H S English language training course. 7.Develop monthly and quarterly plan for the English language training for English language teachers subject teachers and administrative staff. 8.Involve potential ELT teachers in conducting ELT for subject teachers and administrative staff. 9.Carry out standard-based evaluation (SBE) for English language teachers. 10.Carryout ELT teachers to carryout (SBE) to evaluate self and peers. 11.Participate in computer based ELT programme organized by AKES.A and contribute in developing computer based ELT programme which could be utilized in training teachers and students at I H S. 12.Report activities and progress to AKU-SON programme manager. 13.Conduct ESL classes for support staffs of AKUSON ( Drivers ) . 14.Conduct ESL classes for admin staffs of AKUSON on regular bases. 15.Train three hours a week Computer for admin staffs of midwifery and nursing departments. 16.Help with midwifery and nursing department staffs on filing and Dari writing |

| Qualifications required: | |
| 1.At least five years ESL training experiences with international NGOs .2.Impersonal skills and pure communicational skills within and staffs and I H S teachers .
3.Post–graduate qualification Training language . 4.Good organizational skills. 5.Fluent in writing and speaking both in English and Dari, able to communicate in Pashto would be advantage. 6.Computer Literate in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint programs. 7.Above 25 years of age. |
