To mark International Women’s Day 2019, IAEA Deputy Director General for Management Mary Alice Hayward hosts “Inspiring Stories of Women in the Nuclear Field,” a dynamic event to inspire us in our individual and collective efforts for gender equality

The event features three short talks by accomplished women in the nuclear field, each with a unique story to tell:

– Ms Rumina Velshi, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC)
– Ms Marina Belyaeva, Deputy Director of International Activities and Director of International Cooperation Department of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation of Russia
– Ms Amelia Lee Zhi Yi, Mentoring Coordinator for UN Nuclear Young Generation and Consultant at IAEA Soil and Water Management and Crop Nutrition Laboratory

The talk is followed by an interactive question and answer session with the speakers.
