Surani Sisters: Project iConquer Helps School Children

Sisters Sara, Saherish and Zoya Surani have an important message that they want to share with 3 to 7-year-olds in the Coastal Bend and that is to “chews” wisely, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, to conquer obesity and diabetes.

In 2013, the Surani sisters created Project iConquer, a diabetes awareness program which specifically targets young children. To date, the program has reached more than 20,000 students in 35 area schools and has raised more than $180,000 in local, state and federal grants.
