Major AbidPosh Ali was awarded Tamgha-e-Basalat on the occasion of Pakistan Day. Maj Abid is resident of Gircha Gojal Hunza.
Tamgha-e-Basalat (Medal of Good Conduct) is an award of Pakistan Armed Forces. It is a non-operational award given by President of Pakistan to military personnel for acts of valor, courage or devotion while performing their duty.

Ismailimail 
Many of our Ismailis from the northern areas are serving in the Pakistan Armed forces in the highest ranks also. They are very courages soldiers and are on the borders of Kashmir and China also.
