Shirazali "Ali" Manji - Obituaries - London, ON - Your Life MomentsMANJI, Shirazali “Ali” – Passed away peacefully on Oct. 28, 2014, surrounded by his family and friends at Parkwood Hospital, London, ON, after his 5 yr battle with cancer. Ali was born Aug. 4, 1946 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He immigrated to Canada in 1972 and settled in London with his family in 1976. “Ali” enjoyed being an employee of Eaton’s where he made many lifelong friends. “Ali” will be sadly missed by his wife, Almas, his son Farid (Sabina) of London, his daughter Narmin Haji (Alim) of Mississauga, and his beloved grandchildren Mikaeel Manji and Afraaz, Zeeshan, Zarafsha and Nafeezah Haji. He is survived by his brothers, Zulfikar, Zahir, Amin and his sisters Zubeda and Ashraf and many nephews and nieces. A funeral [took] place 10 a.m. on Nov. 1, 2014 at the Ismaili [Jamatkhana], 3392 Wonderland Rd. S., London, ON. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice (www.sjhospicelondon.com) or to Colon Cancer Canada (www.coloncancercanada.ca) would be greatly appreciated.
