The 5th Annual G(irls)20 Summit is being held at the Sydney Opera House, on August 25th & 26th, 2014.
Farah Mohamed of Canada is the Founder and CEO of Girls 20, an initiative that “cultivates a new generation of female leaders through entrepreneurship and education.
Designed according to G20 Architecture, the G(irls)20 Summit brings together one delegate from each G20 country, plus a representative from the European & African Unions, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the MENA region, to debate and design solutions that will economically advance girls and women around the world.
While the agenda is similar to that of the G20 leaders, the participants are all girls, aged 18-20. This years summit will focus on jobs & growth, infrastructure & investment, the rise & relevance of entrepreneurism and the relationship between mental health & productivity. We are pleased to feature speakers from Australia and around the globe.
