Jamshed Quli’s tomb set to regain lost lustre - Aga Khan Trust for Culture to spearheaded the Project

Earnest effort underway to conserve the tombs of Qutb Shahi rulers and funerary gardens After years of waiting for Iranian help, the conservation/restoration is now an indigenous effort scheduled over a period of 10 years.

The restoration process is being spearheaded by the Aga Khan Cultural Trust and Sir Dorabji Tata Trust for a period of 10 years. Sprawled over 106 acres, with 40 mausoleums, a hamam (funerary bath), and five step wells, water channels and gardens, it is not an easy task.
