PATIALA, INDIA–(Marketwired – Nov. 6, 2013) – Almas Jiwani, President of UN Women National Committee Canada will be deliver the keynote address via video conference at the 5th International Conference on Women and Development, in India. The conference will be held in Patiala from November 22nd-23rd.
The conference will aim to render the current situation for unequal participation that many developing countries face. Almas Jiwani, whose work has transcended on several of the issues of discussion through her commitment with UN Women National Committee Canada, will be speaking on the propositions for action in securing women\’s full participation in developing countries.
