UCA Clearing 160,000 Cubic Metres of Rock at Khorog Campus SiteUCA Campus Construction: Stone Crushing Process, Khorog

To prepare its Khorog campus site, the University of Central Asia (UCA) is clearing and crushing up to 160,000 cubic metres of rock. The cleared land will house future UCA buildings and the crushed stones will be processed into concrete and used in the construction of UCA’s Khorog campus.

This 1:30 minute video demonstrates the intensive stone removal and crushing process. The crushing and sorting process considerably reduces the size of removed stone, from up to 500 mm in diametre to 25 mm and smaller. This creates raw material that can be processed into concrete and used for UCA Khorog campus site construction. This development is overseen by the UCA Construction and Facilities Division.
