Aga Khan Foundation held annual Partnership Walk in Irving | Dallas Morning NewsBy Deborah Fleck / News Assistant – Perfect weather greeted about 5,000 people who came to the Irving Convention Center early Saturday for the annual Dallas Partnership Walk. An initiative of the Aga Khan Foundation USA, the annual walk raises awareness and funds to help reduce poverty in Asia and Africa. Along with a 5K and 1K Fun Run, the event included a Village in Action, which displayed projects and provided information about foundation programs.

Irving Mayor Pro Tem Gerald Farris welcomed the group and said Irving was proud to host the fundraiser. This is the second year organizers brought the event to Irving. It had been held in Dallas for several years. Visit partnershipsinaction.org.
