Salima is from Halton Ontario and is in Rwanda together with two other graduating students from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario. They are there to teach business at the University in Kigale. They have just completed their teaching portion of the trip.
Salima has been blogging her experience in Kigale. Here’s a link to her blog. It gives a good view of life in the third world through her eyes!
Mubarak to Salima Ladhanii for very adventurous career and stay away from home, but at home, as she says. Few of us can risk such an undertaking and she has complied with Mawlana Hazer Imam’s Farmans that education only for making money and living for self is not in conformity with the teachings of Islam but education should be for sharing and bringing up the marginalised communities . Mubarak Salima with prayers for your contained success in your noble goals. Ameen.
