More than 7,500 people took part in the event Sunday
One small step in Stanley Park translates into one large step to help eradicate poverty in places such as Bangladesh.
On Sunday, more than 7,500 people took a step toward ending global poverty at the 29th annual World Partnership Walk in Vancouver.
Their efforts raised more than $1.75 million, which will be earmarked for projects throughout Asia and Africa, such as in-factory daycares for textile workers in Bangladesh.
