BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — Close to 2,000 Birmingham-area residents participated in the Birmingham Partnership Walk at Railroad Park on Sunday, Sept.30 in support of a campaign to end global poverty.
This year, participants raised over $300,000, all geared toward worldwide programs supported by the Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A., according to a press release provided by the foundation.
