ANNOUNCEMENT: MEG SIRCOM MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP WINNER AND AWARDS CEREMONY

The English Department is very pleased to announce that the Meg Sircom Memorial Scholarship, a recognition of achievement in English and creative writing, has been awarded to ROSEMIN NATHOO.

Rosemin, a student in Environmental and Wildlife Management, submitted a portfolio of wonderful poems, including the following small example.

*
shimmer
one day, there won’t be bridal veils
but daisies
reaching outwards with
soft hands and chosen colours,
all atoms
strangely in the shapes of solar systems.
*
Congratulations to Rosemin!
